Ecovadis Sustainability Rating 2024: BORG Automotive Group Improves by Five Points

Last year, BORG Automotive Group took another step forward in its journey to become a more responsible and socially aware company. In EcoVadis’ sustainability rating, Europe’s leading independent remanufacturer and supplier of automotive parts maintained its bronze status and increased its overall score by five percentage points.

Since 2020, BORG Automotive Group has been rated annually by Ecovadis, one of the world's leading providers of sustainability ratings, with regard to its corporate performance on environment, labor and human rights, ethics, and sustainable procurement.

As in previous years, the company has now been awarded the bronze medal. BORG Automotive Group scored 62 out of a possible 100 points in 2024 – an improvement of 5 points. This puts BORG among the top 31 percent (2023: 34 percent) of companies analysed in the rating. Consequently, the company has also significantly cemented its bronze status, as the medal requires a company to be at least among the top 35 percent of participants.

EcoVadis assessments consider a range of international guidelines and best practices, evaluating companies’ policies and actions against leading global standards. To achieve bronze status in 2024, companies had to score at least 30 points in all four categories—human resources, environment, ethics, and responsible purchasing. It was no longer possible to compensate for a poor result in one category with a good result in another.

We are proud to have improved our result in EcoVadis once again and remain dedicated to continuous progress in the coming years. This score is important as it reinforces trust and confidence among our partners and customers. - Line Meldgaard, Sustainability Manager at BORG Automotive Group
