BORG Automotive Group is Europe’s leading independent automotive remanufacturer and, since 2021, also the owner of SBS Automotive, a trading company carrying wear parts. Thereby, we are able to cover a broad demand for automotive spare parts in the OEM and aftermarket.

BORG Automotive was founded in Denmark in 1975 by Søren Toft-Jensen and has over 45 years of experience in remanufacturing a wide range of product groups. Currently: starters, alternators, turbochargers, brake calipers, AC compressors, EGR valves, steering racks, and steering pumps. We continuously develop our portfolio to fit the car park and your needs as a customer.

The group consists of factories in Poland, Spain, and the UK that remanufacture automotive spare parts. The reman products are allocated through our distribution companies BORG Automotive Reman and Car Part Industries (CPI). BORG Automotive Reman delivers to the Independent After Market, and CPI delivers to the OE market. Alongside that, SBS is our Danish trading company that carries wear parts with a focus on friction for the aftermarket.

In 2017 BORG Automotive was bought by the Danish conglomerate Schouw & Co.
